Cycling & Hiking

Our hotel is a favorite starting point for magnificent hikes and bicycle tours through shady forests far away from traffic to, for example, the Oster lakes or through the national park to Bernried.

For cyclists we recommend circling Lake Starnberg (approx. 53 km (33 mi.)), which is almost a "must do" or trips into the nature preserve of the Oster lakes. There are also wonderful cycle trails to Murnau or Benediktbeuren. 

The Oster lakes are great for hiking and the trail from Seeshaupt to Bernried or Tutzing is wonderful. If you like to go jogging, we recommend the trail along the lake to Seeseiten and - depending on your level - on through the Bernrieder Park.
