Seeshaupt on Lake Starnberg

Seeshaupt is a town of high recreational value. The idyllic location at the south end of Lake Starnberg and the proximity to the Oster lakes with a view of the mountains make for a special charm. Because of its proximity to Munich, Garmisch, Bad Tölz, Murnau, Kochel, Weilheim and Andechs, Seeshaupt is the ideal starting point.

Seeshaupt is not one of your typical tourist towns; nevertheless, there are shops, a pharmacy, restaurants, hair stylists, physicians, and banks. The show garden in the Bahnhofstraße is worth visiting and spending some time in.

A round trip on the steam boat is a joy for people of any age. There are many fine cultural events in and around town.
